Premier League clubs usually negotiate far more lucrative deals compared to other European leagues but this Wolfsburg kit deal is a good sign for German football, as Nike is prepared to splash the cash on a team that failed to qualify for the Champions League next season. Manchester United’s £75 million a year deal with Adidas is by far the biggest in football and sports brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc. usually prepare to pay more for established & historic clubs rather than second fiddle teams in top European leagues.
